Azzano has flown more than 2,900 hours in 35 aircraft types as an instructor pilot, evaluator pilot and experimental test pilot. It supports 300 test programs on 76 aircraft of 12 different types which the group hopes will inspire future aviation enthusiasts to follow their dreams in the aviation world. Hosted by the 412th Operations Group representing Edwards Air Force Base, students visiting the California Aeronautical University Aviation Career Day in Bakersfield, California got the chance to experience being a Test Pilot and a Flight Test Engineer Feb 3. The 412 Operations Group took over flying operations in 1993 for the 412 Test Wing which had transitioned into an objective test wing the previous year. The Air Force Civilian Service is looking for a Full-Time Electronics Technician (NJ-0856-04) to work at the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the Air Force Test Center (AFTC), at the 412th Electronic Warfare Group at Edwards AFB in Edwards, CA.
